They really are easy. I hope this helps put the fear out of making a doll disappear. There is a lot of creative things to do wtih this basic pattern. such as stitching half way up for elbows and knees, making shaplier bodies, etc.

Is the neck just on one side? Never mind, I studied the picture better and it looks like the answer is yes. :oops:

You could put the dart on both sides but then the neck gets pretty narrow to stuff the head. On larger dolls I dart both sides. I use the darted side on the front so doll has kind of a chin.
