By the Way congratulations you know it is really 86 years, 43 for you and 43 for him. lol.

Pete 02-19-2011 09:33 AM

41 years, but if we count the time we dated - 44 years!
Would not trade him in even for new super Bernina!

mariposa gal 02-19-2011 10:22 AM

Today is our 45th anniversary. Never can believe 45 yrs could pass so quickly. Would you believe, when we opened out Valentive cards, we had given each other the same card?? Wow - love this man!

franie 02-19-2011 10:23 AM

Congratulations! I have been married to the same man for 47 years next month! Hmmmmm Depends on my mood or his mood as to what I think of that ride!

Happy Anniversary. We will be married 49 years in August.

Anne P 02-19-2011 12:59 PM

It will be 45 for us May 26. I can't imagine (don't want to imagine) life without him. They say opposites attract, and it's sure true in our case. Fortunately, we aren't total opposites, but definitely have our ying and yang moments! Love him. He's taken very good care of me and our family and home all these years.
It's interesting to see how many people here got married in May.

Treasureit 02-19-2011 01:01 PM

36 in June that is 2 times the length of time I lived with my parents...He hasn't got me any better trained either!

Treasureit 02-19-2011 01:04 PM

I remember when my Great Aunt/Uncle celebrated their 50th....(back in the 1960's)that was such a mile stone back then...now it seems so much more common...congrats on 43 and may 50 be just as blessed!

Helen Marie 02-19-2011 01:21 PM

Our 47th this April.

Ours is 40 in Sept

LindaWheattall 02-19-2011 04:16 PM

OOps, made a mistake on that date, should be 2011. time goes by way too fast. I wish my daughters would have followed in our footssteps. 43 year old is going to divorce her 3rd husband soon and 40 year old has been divorced awhile. She does have a boyfriend though, he just turned 21. We call her a cougar.

grammiec 02-19-2011 05:20 PM

Congrats!!!--My 38th is coming up June 1--but have been with him for 43yrs. High school sweethearts!

Now that's what I call true love. Soon be 41 for me too, and I wouldn't make the trade either.
I think it is just terrific that so many of us have been married to the same DH's for so many years. That really just tells us that marriage is just what God intended for it to be. I want to cry each time I see these young couples who can't seem to make their marriages work out. Losing a mate and marrying again is different, but some just can't seem to make things work.

quickly 02-20-2011 12:35 AM

I have been married to the same guy for 66 years. Will be 67 in just a few months.

I am confused. I don't seem to find the necessary directions for getting onto the board. Where do I go for this help?

Becky Crafts 02-20-2011 01:44 AM
