Some more "bins" -

I use my ice cube tray to hold freshly squeezed lemon juice, which I then freeze for later use.

Try using the ice cube trays (the kind you fill with water and put back in the freezer) to store your bobbins. They usually store 3 in a section and there are 10 or 12 sections and they are stackable.

I still make ice cubes with the ice trays. My second hand fridge used to have an ice maker but no more, but it did have the ice bin when I got it. Right now I have 7 plastic ice cube trays I keep busy.

I bought some at Wal-Mart a few years ago, They are clear so you can see through them. I use them for fat quarter storage . dottiebug

This thread reminds me of the time I spent looking - and looking and looking - for biscuit cutters. I couldn't find them, and NO ONE knew what they were! At one store, I finally found an older lady working in one of the aisles. I asked if she knew what a biscuit cutter was. She did, and off we went together to find it. We stood in the aisle where she said it should be, and we both looked for several minutes. Finally she made the wry observation that there were 8 different kinds of can openers but no biscuit cutters, and didn't THAT make a statement about today's culture.

My icemaker quit so I bought ice trays. Fill up with water, freeze, pour into icemaker container and use it as if it was making ice. Works perfectly.
