Much as I dislike the abbreviations, they do save time. Guess we have to keep up with new trends. Imagine the day we start speaking in abbreviations!

What I want to know is how do you find out what they mean? Is there a list or something I can print out, to understand what people are talking about? It is very confusing to me. Thanks

I must tell you, a friend in England said she just bought a new Dictionary and there is a whole section in the back of abbreviations. and how to write emails too!

Block of the Month

Well,most of us are from an older generation,but I don`t mind the abberviations and as for the spelling that also comes from our generation because typing on a keyboard is different from a typewriter.I enjoy the board too much to worry about these. BTW which is By the way,BOM is Block of the Month.When you have GC and GGC you pick up a lot of these things.

LOL can also mean Lots of Love,per my DGD.I agree with the person who said we need to keep the gray matter going.It is a proven fact that the more we keep analyzing and studying things the better our thinking process is.

One that really bothers me is Xmas, it is Christmas.
