Not hard to figure out the texting shorthand - saves on time, ink and space...

I just skip over the one's I don't know. It doesn't seem to make a difference. I can understand using them on cell phones and the like where the keystrokes cost or are limited but on the computer it's a bit unnecessary.
Spelling? Yeah I make a lot too. I like to blame it on fat fingers. Ha Ha ! But I prefer the whole word. My husband is always checking my Blog for spelling. He was a former English teacher!

I am with you on all these abbreviations or what I call short hand symbols. I finally figured out that OMG means: OH MY GOD, but the rest remains a mystery. If some smarter person knows what they all mean, please enlighten the rest of us, as we are not using very many brain cells. Laughing

I now know that DSm is Domestic Sewing Machine. Un til just recently, I had thought that is stood for darling, darned or d....d sewing machine especially if talking a non-vintage machine (the last 2). I still think it sometimes but only when tired or applicable.

I used to be very good at spelling, as I have aged, so has my spelling. It's not that I don't know how, but that I can't remember.
