You can tell they will be lifelong friends. I always thought nothing is better than a child to "grow up" along side their dog.

Reminds me of my son and our Labrador. He was all over her, poking her and playing with her. When she got tired of him all she would do was lick his face and he was out of there. Of course as he grew he loved it when she licked his face. I miss those days!! Little boys need a dog that they can wrassle with!!!
