Oh you poor thing. Hope you get better fast.

Oh Kookie... I'm so sorry you have this...
Please take care.. One of the things I read about being "in the wild" is to tuck your pants into your socks (wear knee high and wear gloves that go over the cuff of you shirts... I know in the summer heat to wear long sleeves and long pants is torture but it prevents the buggers from getting on your skin as easily |
So sorry to hear this. Hope you feel better soon.

Dear Kookie,
I had Lyme disease in 1992 from a tick bite. Be sure you stay on your meds for at least a month. Unfortunately there are no accurate tests to determine if you are completely free of the Lyme spirochetes. Blood tests are not accurate because the spirochetes invade tissues and do not stay in the blood stream. This research link will help you understand the illness. I continue to research Lyme because I still have lingering symptoms and have test positive for the antibodies. You can cut and paste this link into your browser. http://www.lymenet.org/BurrGuide200810.pdf I pray you have a complete recovery and can enjoy quilting for many years. Sincerely, JoAnn Taylor Rice |
