Jan, I will ask around here in western Canada and see if I can find anything for you. Or, at least some info.
|
Jan, I checked mine and they are Venus # 2 ..... Hopefully I will get some shopping time at Dollarama , Staples
and others. Will gladly buy any then email you before I mail them. Live north east of Toronto --more center of country so with all the others that wrote I think we should have the whole 5000 miles covered. I know we have members in Newfoundland and Vancouver Island yet to jump in here. |
I found this company - Lovett International Inc 144 Gould Street # 205 Needham Heights, MA 02494-2343
Phone: (781) 444-1600 Nicole Ma, primary of sales, updated this company profile on 09/17/2012 " is a large importer of school supplies, paper products and writing implements." This may be the company that makes your pencil. Hope it helps. meanwhile I'll keep a look out for Lovett #2 pencils. |
Gosh, thank you for that info about the Needham Heights, MA #. I may try it tomorrow.
But it concerns me a bit with the last name and "importer".....only because I was badly burned ($130 worth) about 5 years ago over a special lamp I ordered and had to return, similar info on the company, lost the refund over it. I've been really careful ordering on line/by phone since. I really appreciate all those that are looking for these for me. I am very aware of and have tried all the other brands of pencils that have been mentioned and they are not quite what I want. Hugs, Jan in VA |
Lovett is a brand name and is manufactured in Canada and USA. Try searching on the brand name to find local sources of this pencil.

I just searched on "Lovett pencils" and came up with this link http://www.lovettpromotion.com/onlinestore.html
They sell all kinds of school/office supplies and list tons of pencils (with pictures) to give it a try. |
Lovett Pencils
I realize this post is very old but I wanted to chime in. I, too, am a great fan of the Lovett pencils.
I purchased them at the Dollar Tree many years ago and haven't seen them anywhere else. I also bought a Lovett calendar there that was very good quality. However, I have not been able to find Lovett brand anywhere since. Have you? Kind Regards, Shalyn |
Shalyn, if you click the link in the post above yours, it looks like the company is still in business, It seems to me all the items they manufacture are promotional items for companies, organizations, etc. to put their name on. You could contact them, though.
