These absolutely astonished me. I had no idea that the Netherlands had any such products, or are they imported? Or grown in greenhouses? I've toured many greenhouses and nurseries here and in Canada and Hawaii, no one ever mentioned the Netherlands as commercial growers, it's far too cold there unless citrus is taken inside in winter. My DH was an active member of the International Society of Plan Propagators.
None of them spoke of such things, or at least in some of the speeches I attended.
These really are of a much finer quality than even the Rose Bowl Parade in southern California. I love the little Dutch Girl..she's charming. And the Mushrooms, I've always loved wild Mushrooms and hunting them with Grandma.

I am from the Netherlands and this festival is not from the Netherlands. Maybe the south of France or Spain?
We don't have mountains or hills that high and there are no palmtrees growing there. The climat is too low to grow oranges and palmtrees.

Where did you get those photos? I am looking at the buildings and the hills, and the plants growing outside, and wondering where it is? I see some writing in French on one of the displays- Menton maybe?
