I was frustrated with lighting in my sewing room. Just had ceiling light and one window in front of sewing table. I was always working in a shadow. Went to Walmart and found two light bars. LTD lights. Very affordable. Long cord. 24" long Mounts on the wall. Have one over my ironing board and one over cutting table. Bright light but easy on the eyes. Best investment I ever made for my sewing room. Just a suggestion.

So I've had this new lighting for 24 hours now and I think I just may like it. (Don't tell hubby!) Colors are SO much brighter. Like after the cataract surgery. Just wonder how it will affect my color choices. Hmm...maybe need to change the lighting in my fabric room too?

What's a vacuum cleaner? My carpet in there sees something like that every few months. Cleaning that machine is more of a challenge than cleaning the threads off the floor by hand.
Four LED light bulbs from the ceiling that works for me!

I was having trouble seeing well with the overhead room light and the just the light of my sewing machine, so I purchased two pole lights, the kind with three separate lights on them that can be turned on all together or separately, and aimed in different directions separately as well. I love them. They are not taking up room on my sewing tables and I can adjust them and move them as needed. Relatively cheap as well. They use regular up to 60 watt light bulbs and I got them for about 30.00 each.
