It's similar to a comment my friend made about newlyweds not leaving the reception early to start their honeymoon, but staying to the very end. If they have been living together, what's different about going home after this party as to any other parties they have been to?

I agree with Leota --- as long as they don't post pics of their wedding night. And as everyone else has said --- I had other and better things on my mind on my wedding night.

I hope your niece will be very happy in her wedded life.

We haven't gone to many weddings in the past few years. The invites were from ones who had lived together for 3-4 years, threw big parties and wanted no 'wrapped' presents, just money for their fabulous honeymoons. I sent cards, no money. We had our fabulous honeymoon to Hawaii, paid for by ourselves, for our 32nd wedding anniversary. I'm sorry I sound so hardnosed about it, but the divorce rate is 60% now. And FB didn't cause that statistic.
