Not A Machine But What Is It?

I bought a box lot of attachments and other odd things. I figured out the K Tel Knitters and most everything else but what are these? The top turns and the little spines draw in and come back out of the little holes. There are no markings on them to give me an idea what to search for. Are they some kind of Daisy knitters?

I'm pretty sure that is for making some sort of yarn thing - you loop the yarn around the pins back and forth across the flat end, then weave around the loops. When done, you pull the pins in and your "art" pops off. kind of something like a god's eye.

I think they were called KnitWits. Yarn was woven around the prongs making a lacy circle or square, then the prongs were retracted to pop off the yarn piece.

I've seen them called daisy loom or KnitWit . Here are some examples of what you can make http://theknittingneedleandthedamage...-have-one.html

Thanks everyone. Now that the mystery is solved they can go in the box of dumb stuff I'll never use.
