The texture of Greek Yogurt is more like sour cream. I hate sour cream but I worked past that texture issue. I think they double drain it or something so it isn't as liquidy as regular yogurt.

There goes my box of mac and cheese - gluten free and all natural, of course. No glow in the dark orange stuff for me. The cojack isn't open so it can wait another week. I earned my gold star this week, but it's no biggy. I haven't had Coke in 18 years - maybe 5 total in that time.

Weight, holding or easing down very slowly. I guess I'd better be more careful if I want to make my 2 1/2 pounds down by the end of the month. Exercise, okay. Walks on schedule. Several missed days of the TV 30 minutes due to other commitments.

I'm very tired. I was up early to get to the church on time to work on bazaar things. Then Lily had a veterinarian app't. I went to dinner with 2 daughters and 2 grandsons and whoosh, the day was gone. I hate money spent at the vet except for the annual app't. I spent at least 5-6 yards of fabric today. Darn it. But I can't leave my beauty with an infected foot. Off to sew a bit, but it's going to be an early night.

I am losing weight and getting healthier.

Yes! That is exactly right!

Now for those who wanted to 'see'. here is a picture of me. Not very good cause it was late at night & we were nailing down the cement boards in the bathroom reno. First time DH let me use his tools....he was that tired!!!!

Nancy, I can sit on the floor but I can't squat or kneel. The knee just can't take the pressure so I sat & dragged my behind, lol. The shower glass walls are going up today! whooohoo!!!! The room will be finished!!!!

I think I can live with this weeks challenge - just have to make sure I don't eat cheese where it has snuck in cooked someplace.

I'm off early to the doc's office this morning for the follow up test to the one that didn't turn out so good in the last bunch. She said because this is more in depth it will take longer so bring something to keep myself occupied in the waiting times. Sounds like hand sewing to me. I hate waiting in doc offices.

Judy, sorry to hear your little dog is injured and you're right it's always 5 - 6 yds of fabric every time. We have 3 dogs and 1 cat so I've made several quilts over the years.

Missy, sorry to hear you're grumpy. How's that quilt coming along? I thing about you every day. You are so talented and fearless when it comes to quilting I envy you.

DH and I went to a FM quilt class last night. We're visiual, we need to be shown everything. Now it's practice, practice ,practice. We signed up for an advanced class for next week.

I have to run to get ready to get to the doc. God Bless everyone. Prayers for all. (Cathie included Missy).

Anyone hear from MJ?

Aww thank you Jeanne! You are so very sweet! The quilt is coming along just slowly. I am hoping to sew more today. We will see though.

Missy

Just read that we are to have no cheese. This will be easy because I hate cheese. Had to make cupcakes for a church Halloween party. YES I had one and it wasn't even that good. Things are going great here!!!

Oh, no cheese? I have cheese on my tacos don't know if I can do that. I'll have to think about other protein for meal. Right now I have fat free refried beans with 1 oz pepper jack cheese. Yum!

it is fun to see everyone (or nearly) ! i am still feeling bloated--about 30 lbs of bloat--so it will be awhile before i'll post a picture. however, i did get a couple new ones of olivia so she will be my substitute. i have been very cranky and morose so have refrained from making many comments. when my mood is this bad even my nice comments sound snarky! i am happy to see so many people participating and chiming in! pretty soon we'll sound more like the mormon tabernacle choir than the christy minstrels! holding at a weight is good, losing is better, but gaining is just awful. i'm afraid i'm gaining! everything seems to be sticking to me. just call me sg, for super glue. new super hero! (not). cheese is no challenge, so have that gold star ready, please! if xylie were here she'd say " git 'er done", so i'm off to git done-ing! have a great rest of the week! can it really be wednesday already???

Hi all, I had a great time at my 3 day quilt retreat - too much fun and not enough sleep. Now I need to get ready for vacation. We'll be leaving in about 23 hours for our Great Canada Adventure. I've lived in WI for 30 years and have never ventured far enough north to get to Canada. Seems like summer would be a better time, oh well!

Murphy1 10-19-2011 01:29 PM

I love Canada, have a wonderful time. I hope it isn't too cold, I am a native CA - not sure I would have the clothes for really cold weather. But I do wish we would leave the 80's behind. I am ready for fall.

Sounds like everyone is doing well. I am not sure how my weight loss os doing. I was down 1.4 pounds each week the ast 2 weeks. I'm not sure about this week I have been eating a little badly but I have been exercising. My weight watcher meeting is Saturday. I will find out then. I quilted all day Saturday last week making quilts for Ronald McDonald. It was fun but there was sooooooo much yummy food. I made some delicious chocolate caramel candy. I can't stay out of the leftovers. So I took them to work,
