OMG a cape is something I should have had years ago. I had a Blue Crown Conure and he was alway sitting on my shoulder when I was home. So one night I had a Town Council meeting and AFTER the meeting was over someone mentioned that I had birdy doo on the back of my shirt!! We all had a huge laugh but I was more careful after that.

I finished the cape FINALLY!
Boy what a pain my smaller machine was being, then it jumped timing so it has to go to the machine Dr. when i get the money. Had to pull out the "big" boy (Brother 1500D) and get it set up on the table so I had some better lighting, and more (that is questionable though) work space. Without much ado here is the cape finished. Special thanks goes to my hubs for being my cape model. The cape was MUCH to big for my small size table top mannequin. Yes my hubs is BIG guy (6'3" 350+ lbs.). I am now working on about 8-10 full aprons & about 7-9 half aprons. I don't know if I will get all them finished before May 10th, but I am sure going to give it a try. If there is time I want to make some smaller easy items. |

I purchased some hand towels to put into the the "Bird First Aid Kits"
that I made. Running out of time this bird expo, but I hope to get some stuff made to sell at both the fall shows that will be embroidered.
