Kay, I got a couple of really good view of Flirt today, in the right light and proper angle she IS huge :lol: :lol: :shock: :shock: :lol: :lol: Holy cow!!! :roll: :roll: So when you checked her milk did you find that she is getting even closer than you thought???

Sorry guys! Hubby took over the computer last night and I fell asleep waiting for him to get done. That foal is really kicking and making her miserable. Must be time for the baby to come LOL.

Tonight we will do another milk sample on both. Patches bag shrank back again yesterday so I think shes a little further out then Flirt

I finally got the foal cam to come up on my pc laptop. Imagine my disappointment not to see a mommy & baby. Just a handsome fella mucking the stall. Oh well, he's nice to look at too!

Since there obviously isn't a baby, either the foaling fairies are taking a break, or playing a joke on us, or I've counted my FQ's before they've foaled! LOL

I SWEAR I am not going to stay up all day watching that camera. I have to sleep! It's my 4th 12 in a row! Really. (I'm trying hard to convince myself)

okay not to confuse anyone again but that is Meadow now in the stall. I had to put her in to get a urine sample so I can see if shes preggers. she will be let back out shortly :)

Thank you, thank you, thank you!!! I thought something was seriously wrong with me. Like, I had forgotten what a preggers mare looked like just before delivery!!! I just kept saying, "That mare doesn't look pregnant to me!?!" Over and over. Whew, now I can go to bed. I've shut down the "Mare Stare". LOL. Love that name!!!!! Of course you know that I'll jump out of bed this afternoon and immediately run in to turn on my laptop for an update!

I have RealPlayer and pasted the link and still can't get pics., On dial up everything is extra hard and i do so want to watch! I am an old horse lover from way back, we had an old white mare that we used to ride bareback as kids. She was gteat , but those sudden stops would get me once in a while! :lol: :lol: I got pretty good at falling and not getting hurt!

Thank you so much!! His daughter was on cam for a bit today and shes a carbon copy of her dad :) Unfortunately the test came back negative and shes not in foal :(

Poor Terri! Flirt is still ahead of patches. Im sorry but I didnt know the cam was down but its back up now. You all missed her kicking me in the knee when I went to get a milk sample. Now she has been fine with it all week and tonight NO WAY. Her udder is very tight so I think we are getting closer. She was rolling and rubbing all day today. Just wish I could have got a milk sample so I know weather to stay up LOL.

Flirt has always been a pain because she will really carry on like a mare in labor and then nothing. Thats why her first foal was called baxters just teasin ya.

T, I've had mom watching the site for me while I'm here at work but she's gone to bed. Thanks for the update. Ma got me all excited for a while because she said Flirt was kicking and nudging her sides and then laid down and ms thought she saw a"wet spot" near her tail. I was so excited, but I guess either she or Flirt was just messing with me. It's a good thing both my patients are sleeping!!!

Just tell your mom that when she starts rolling REALLY hard while she's down, that's when it's time to get excited. BUT....don't get too excited because most of the time when she does that, she just hops back up and goes and feeds her face! Silly mare!

good morning!! Terri I do think your right and we will probably see a foal today or tomorrow. Boy for a couple hours last night she was really going! I almost went out to check her and then I reminded myself that its Flirt the drama queen LOL

Her hips look even more sunk in today. Im up early as I am going to a tack sale today but hubby will be home keeping an eye on the drama queen.

Did you guys see her doing the grasshopper legs?? (rubbing back legs together) for most mares that means they are going to foal any minute. Just not flirt :)

I saw that grasshopper leg thing. Before she did that, she was biting on her leg, so I just figured she still had the itch. Then I remembered you said something before about grasshopper legs, so I just kept watching.

Did anyone go out to her stall about 20 min ago or is there another mare that can maybe cast a shadow into the stall? I saw a shadow of what looked like a head or something. Could have been my imagination....I did see a "tail foal" last year, remember? lol
