I have never heard of this method for perserving peaches either, but I think I am going to do an experiment.
I love to eat peaches year around, but I definitely do not like the price of most frozen peaches. Hey if all else fails, the results will end up in a smoothie. |
If all else fails,I have a cobbler in mind.I hope it works.

Your so lucky. I love peaches. The method sounds good. If it doesn't work make pie.

When the blackberry's get ripe, try a peach and blackberry cobbler. It is sooooooo good!!!

I would sure tyr it too, they would be great warm over ice cream too!

I have a peach tree. It is defective. We've lived here 16 years and the peaches have NEVER made it bigger than 1 1/2" around and have never blushed, they just fall off and rot!!!
Wish I could get good peaches instead of just having to clean up a mess (It is beautiful when it blooms and provided great shade for the dogs) |
