The guy who first thought of the idea must be given an award for originality !!!
What a fantastic idea! No more spilled dried beans, macaroni, etc. Don't have to grapple with rubber bands that are tied too tightly. How to seal a bag and make it air-tight! Cut up a disposable water bottle and keep the neck and top, as in photo. Insert the plastic bag through the neck and screw the top – to seal. (see 2nd photo) (Pull the opening of the bag through the opening of the cut bottle.) The bottle is made to be air-tight, such that water will not leak, the secret lies with the top and screw! Good for us and the environment too. |
That is soooo cool!!!!!!!!!

Very clever and useful too :D:D:D

Yes! One cool ideal!

Thnks for the great idea!

What a GREAT idea!!
|
yes, but when you unscrew the top, won't the bag fall out? Then do you have to "re-install" the screw top each time.
I think I will stick with twist-ties, I only have about 3000 in my drawer. |
Maybe, maybe not. I guess it would depend on how much of the bag you have pulled through the opening (and whether the contents of the bag would pour through the opening or not).
True, it may not work for every use, but for some bags it would be great. (Especially for those of us who don't have a ton of twist ties, LOL) |
Super idea and a great way to use all the plastic bottles from water that we accumulate weekly.

very cool
