You paint or "ink" the subject, normally, a flat object....leaves work great too, then you lay the fabric on the, in this case, fish and use a plastic roller....or press the fabric onto the fish. Immediate art. Centuries ago, and mostly like today...wooden images were carved so that you could make many prints of the same subject. I guess it is like being your own printing "press". What was old is new. So glad the practice continues.

Thank you for sharing. I was telling my husband about your work. He thought it was pretty cool. He's getting ready to start fishing again soon I may try your technique!
