I love all the comments about your rooms. So many different ideas and reasons from everyone.

I have a sewing only room. No guest so I don't need a room for them. Our kids and most Grands live around here.

We might have overnight or longer-stay guests once or twice a year. My sewing room has a queen bed, which is where I sleep all the time. (We both snore and I go to bed much later than hubby, so it works for us,) If we host a couple, they get the room. If a single, I have recently redecorated a spare bedroom with a twin bed.

Here's my sewing/guest room when it's company ready (a rare sight).

I have a big room for my sewing and crafts, we also have a guest bedroom that has a lot of the overflow of fabrics and such. Guest just have to put up with it.

I use the guest bedroom to store my stash, and it is still a pain to move enough out for when guests come to visit. What does not fit on the shelves or in the closet is kept in totes, and have them 2-3 high stacked on top of the bed.

My master bedroom turns into my guest room and I move into the extra bedroom when I have guests. Not often, but it works for me. My extra bedroom is also storage for crafting supplies, but I don't mind and I don't have to move anything when I have guests. I live alone so I always have a sewing machine and my cutting table set up in my living room because it's big enough.

I live in Main and Washington state. There is a second bedroom in each place but no beds. They are my sewing room shared with DH for his desk and filing cabinet. the island or dining table for my "work table". In summer I use the deck to spread out a quilt for basting. I improvise. ---- Why the fonts change, I have no idea.

looks like you are at regular now. but if it happens again just use Ctrl I again to go back, or on the edit commands above the reply box [ B I U etc ]click on the I to put italics on or off.
