I was busy sewing yesterday, so didn't check this thread till this morning. I've enjoyed reading the posts from fellow Texans, whether born here, living here now, or just visitors.

??? sorry Lynn, but still don't see where you're from - I see 'southeast Texas', but everyone answered this w/the city they are from.

Have a blessed day

In the 1st post, I wrote that I'm from Nederland. This is a small town, between Beaumont and Port Arthur; about 125 miles from Houston.

Sorry Lynn, guess I just didn't find your 1st post - like you I really enjoy this msg. board & all the great tips & comments from the members.

Yes, I love this Board also. I know there have been other threads asking Texans to sign in. When I saw the one from Michigan, I think, I thought it was time to do another one for Texas. We have such a large state; I know we have lots and lots of Texans here.

I used to live in the Killeen/Fort Hood area a long time ago. I loved Texas!!! Does that count?

lynnsim 10-20-2011 05:25 AM

maryb119, sure it counts that you love Texas!
