What a great statement!
We need to put those names out there a lot more then those that are!
Good for you for being it to our attention!

The News Hour on PBS also remembers the fallen at the end of each broadcast. Can't get through it without crying, they are either so young, or someone's mom or dad.

all gave their lives for you this week in military service and few heard their names.

Let's honor them by passing this on.

Matthew Weikert is from our town and was in my son's hs class. his sister played soccer with my daughter and I know his parents. it was so sad - our town had quite a huge funeral procession for him. He had a young son - about 8 years old. was so so sad of a time

Bless those and there Famalies who gave so much.

Lindsay who....part of the reason, so many have problems see others act worse and get away with it or a slap on the hand.

I like to watch the News Hour for that reason. Seeing their names and faces helps me to keep things in prospective, and it reminds me to pray for their families. I have a soldier of my own and some of those kids are the very same age as my son.

Thanks Ditter, Isn't it sad they glorify the wrong things?
