I'm a 55 yr. Old Grandma. I have the first letter of myself, husband and my two daughter's names tattooed kind of graffiti style on the top of my left foot. I have had it for four years. No regrets.

Yes, I did with my daughter on her 18th b-day. Our b-day's are only a week apart and I was 48. I loved it, but didn't wear the kind of pants(low-rise) needed to keep it. I'd do it over again(I think), LOL!!

Got two tattoo's at 62, one on my right wrist that says 1984 Coast to Coast USA (pedaled a bicycle at age 38) it reminds me that no matter what the age there will always be mountains to climb, the other is a celebration of my three GK-- they are a clown fish (Samuel) a forceps fish(Parker) and a blue tang(Alaina) all fish that I saw while snorkeling in the Great Barrier Reef off the coast of Australia, Tattoos have lots of personal significance for the people who get them.

I have a japanese military flag on one ankle because I was made & born there to a army dad. on the other ankle I have an american flag because that is what I am, on the inside of that ankle I have the Christion fish with a cross inside of it because you can not have America without it ( my opion_ & on my chest on the right side I have a pink ribbon because I had breast cancer. I still have one more to go & that is my name in japanese. CAthy Antone ( tumrub)
