I haven't seen the Skuut before! I know my grandson will get one of these for his birthday! Thanks for the link.

Also, she might like a wheely bug http://www.wheelybug.com/ or the Little Tikes Cozy Coupe which comes in pink http://www.target.com/p/little-tikes...i_sku=11134518

Will watch to see what you decide to get.

Don't get one with the pedals mounted on the wheel- have never seen a kid able to pedal one of those!

I can really recommend a Balance bike. They have no pedals but other than that look like a regular bike. The kids sit on the seat and push with their feet. Before long they let go and coast. We have bought two of them for two of our grandchildren and they were big hits. One grandson, in particular, could really go with that thing. I bought ours in Canada and was very pleased with the service the company gave us. We live in central Canada and had the bike shipped to the west coast for about $15 and it arrived there in about a week. I think the model we got is called the Strider. Our grandchildren were just about the very same age as yours when we bought them their bikes. Hope this helps.

that skuut was an interesting video, but when I clicked on retailers.......no webpage is available yet........so how, from where and of course cost of this thing. As I watched, I was noticing more boys than girls using this......also the way they have to just let their feet dangle....no ledge or something to put foot on? Have a gb that will be three so this is intriguing to me....as a possible b gift this summer......

If I could interject my opinion...buy a regular style trike. I never bought my kids the low riders (big wheel style) as they are too low to the ground and cars cannot see them.
We lost a 5 yr. old friend that way. Something to think about.
You can buy a pole with a flag to fit on a bike too which makes it more visible.

The skuut is only sold on line in US----I think Amazon has them. They may seem a bit pricey but they are well built, hold up and make riding a real bike in the future a piece of cake.

I found one of the "Radio Flyers" w/o peddles at Western Auto for my granddaughter. It's just like a regular trike w/o pedals. It's still in use with my 2.5yo DGS. They are very hard to find. My DDIL found one similar for the 2.5 year old because he couldn't reach the pedals on his big brother's bike that had been saved for him. I haven't seen it yet so not sure what the difference is between the one they already have and the new one.

My DGS can ride the 3-wheeler with pedals (the smaller one).

Oh, they do make the convertible one. Can't remember who makes it...Little Tykes, Fisher Price or Playschool, but it changes from a push trike to a regular trike w/o pedals.

Thank all of you for the great suggestions. I now know what to look for.
