I've read all 4 books and enjoyed them all. I think New Moon was my least favorite of the 4 but read Eclipse and Breaking Dawn in less that a week. My husband and I drive up to Forks frequently so he can fish the wonderful rivers in that area. I have to say, I can't help but look for Vampires and Werewolves now as we're driving along the highway. Bad new is it isn't as easy to get a motel in Forks as it used to be....we actually have to call ahead for a reservation.

Read them in a week. Couldn't put them down. Can't wait for the movie Friday night!

Yes I read them all and liked them was done in days couldn't put them down. I wanted to read them and then DD wanted them so I got them and read ahead of her(wasn't hard to do because they were so good). Was disapointed in the movie. It was too short and if you didn't read the books could get easily confused. I still want to see the next movies though.
I am very independant also not a big fan of silly helpless girls but it is just a book and was fun to read. after this I read some more vampire books and found a GREAT author L.A. Banks and her 11(or 12) vampire huntress series was the best, but it is ADULT reading. end of world demon and vampire takeover, levels of hell, and all kinds of great sex. don't know if I should say that  But I read alot of those books overnight. |
Has anyone read the partial book that is on Stephenie's webpage? It is Twilight from Edward's perspective. I've read part of it and it is kind of neat to read it from a different view.

My DD #2 out of # grown and married girls, is an avid reader. She has devoured all Twilight books, seen any and everything in movies or on net about them, and named one of her kittens, "Bella". Her hubby likes them too, but not as um, I won't say obsessed, I'll just say, 'smitten'.
I have not read them, but she has told me some of the story line. I would guess that she is an "Edward" fan, bc I don't remember her mentioning Jacob, but that was 2-3 months ago. |
The 20-somethings I work with couldnt' stop going on and on about the Twilight books...so I had to read them, if only to keep up with the conversations every day!!! I was pleasantly surprised to find that I very much enjoyed them....and was touched when the young ones at work invited me to join them to see the first Twilight movie. I liked the movie enough that I bought it. I will be going to the second movie this weekend with the gals from work. Jacob or Edward? Probably Jacob...I also like a warm body. ;)

Of course, it would probably boggle many of your minds to find out movies here are only $5 and that includes a small popcorn and soda. (At the 3 a.m. showing they are having hash browns and OJ.) I always need CPR when I see movie prices in real towns. |
I haven't read the books, but I will probably some day. I have to finish the stack I have so I have room for more.
