Congratulations!

I help out as needed with seniors- running errands/appointments, grocery shopping, etc. I also do charity sewing from home. I have a student on occasion as well. :)

Congratulations and thank you! My volunteering for the last two years has been very limited. DH has had considerable health issues, and my brother who had a stroke needs transportation to appointments and events. What I have been able to do, however, is contribute/donate to my friends. One volunteers at the humane society, and an animal rescue organization. Another works with abused women, and a third is a teacher who provides for her needy students. They are always in need of something! I'm seeing that volunteering can have many faces and formats, and thankful for whatever anyone can do!

The gift truly is in the giving! Thanks, Nancy, and congratulations.

I volunteer 3 afternoons a week at our local food shelf, which is quite busy. I love it and love meeting all the people, as well as the people I volunteer with, who are great.

I also donate blood and make hats for adults and kids.

I don't volunteer "per se" in organizations because of my work hours, but I volunteer and make quilts and donate them to those organizations.

Congratulations! I also volunteer with our police department, a support association to the police, and a military support organization. It is very satisfying!

Congratulations! That is awesome!!! I have not done any volunteering in a while! Used to work with American Cancer Society and American Heart Association. Lately, nothing..
