I LOVe Audi's- I just came home from shopping. I have going there for over 20 years. Alot of the meat is really good.
They have some really good brands and their produce is great. They have international food also.

I've been in Aldi's, and I don't really care for it. The first time, the store was absolutely filthy -- I left without buying anything because I was afraid to. As time passed, I've tried other products that friends and family have purchased, and just wasn't "wowed" -- while the produce seemed good, I can still purchase it for less at a local farmers market. And the problems with their store brands as far as short weighted, missing the item, etc., happen too frequently. I am fortunate to live in an area with a first-class grocery -- Wegmans. I grew up with my mother shopping there, and I do now myself. They have everything...both high-end and every day items, and I know and trust their products.

There isn't a lot of thing I don't like at Aldi's - but I have never had good luck buying produce there. Alwasy seems kinda slimy (ugh) but their prices cannot be beat on canned good, cereals, milk,et. I used to get rice cakes there - it was Fit and Active brand - cinnamon struesel. They were better than Quaker Rice cakes - of course the cashier looked at me strange when i bought like 10 boxes of them. Haven't been to Aldi's for a long time so don't know if the produce has gotten better. Hubby works at Walmart and we get a discount on fresh produce and non-grocery items so i have been going there.

Love Aldi's. When I first started to shop there, my bill was $30.00. As I began trying more of their foods, my bill soon became $90.00. They don't carry the variety that other stores carry but what they have is good. Veggies and fruit are good if eaten within a few days--grapefruit is anywhere from .50 to .80 per fruit. Their meats are very good. I always start my shopping there and what I can not find, I finish up at a larger store.

We have a few Aldi's in the area I live and I frequently shop there. Have been happy with everything I've bought and they certainly are cheaper here. But, there's some things you can't get so you still need to go to the regular supermarket as well at times.

I buy almost everything at ALDI. When we were in France we went just once but it's nothing like ALDI here so we never went again.

I *love* shopping at Aldi. Of course, I'm one of those college kids they build them for, but my mom shops there too. Milk and eggs are much cheaper there, and I've found most of the time that the quality of food that is much cheaper there is almost as or just as good at the stuff you can buy at Walmart or a regular grocery store.

They've also remodeled a lot of their stores, and their new stores are much better constructed than they used to be. It's a recent thing, so make sure you check it out for yourself, because chances are, since your's is a new one, it'll be pretty darn nice!

Remembering a quarter you can reuse for carts is a small price to pay for the money you can save there!

We don't have them here in Cali but I have heard they have the best prices of anyone, anywhere. I am jealous.

Hi Anniesews. I read online in the Morning Sun about the coming Aldi's. We moved to TN 5 years ago after living in Gratiot County all our lives. Love it here but certainly do miss Meijer's and their great produce. We have an Aldi's about 40 miles from here. Have never been but hear they usually sell eggs really cheap and that in the summer they have great prices on fresh fruit like strawberries and melons. If I remember correctly you also have to take your own bags or else pay for what you use.

great prices, better than big box stores too..especially if you can't afford to buy in bulk...
