Okay, let's do it. But the chocolate is going to be hard to give up. Good luck to all of us!

Okay, I weighed in at 75kgs this morning. There! I've said it!
I've bid a fond farewell to the biscuit barrel, (it was like the final scene from "Casablanca")kissed the chocolate goodbye...the diet starts today.
Good luck everyone.

I just want to wish everyone good luck. Over the last year and a half I've lost 70 pounds-unfortunatly this time the first 20 will be a do over but I have to start somewhere...

Thanks for this thread and the challenge! October 1st just happens to be the first day of my new diet so I will happily join in!

What is everyone using as a diet? I am starting the hcg diet using the homeopathic drops.

Diane, I'm cutting the fats and sugar and getting more exercise.

Give up chocolate?!?!?!? Oh no no no, I can't do that, at least not completely. I have discovered that if I tell myself no more chocolate, I have the worst cravings all the time. So, I tell myself I could have some if I wanted. Then I can decide not to have it and not crave it. Does that make sense?

Have you tried dark chocolate?? My step-sister is diabetic and she buys good quality dark chocolate, individually wrapped pieces if she can find them. She has 1 piece (or block) whenever she has a craving for chocolate. It seems to do the trick for her. Dark chocolate is better for you than milk choc. or semi-sweet.

Dark chocolate is the yummiest! But it has to be good quality or it is yucky. Cheap milk chocolate is better than cheap dark chocolate to me. But then I'm weird.
