Do any of you do WW online? Do you have to pay a fee?
I'm looking for a little help not only with recipes, but with ones I can make for my family, and help in knowing what works now for me compared to 10 years ago when I lost over 45 lbs and got down to an ideal weight and size. I felt good, was healthy, had energy, looked good and felt good.
I believe I can get back to that and stay there.
Any help would be appreciated. TX

Later, I have a cake to bake.

Gwyn,

Did you make the cake with peanut butter? I am really interested in how that turned out. Sounds so yummy!

So all this talk about prunes made me decide to stew some prunes to have with my yogurt tonight since we all know baked apples are out of the question. I put some prunes in a small pot with a little water, covered it and I left the kitchen to come here. A little time has past and I smell something burning, not unusal as many people have started to burn leaves. It is illegal yet they do it anyway. So I just kept looking around the board and a nice breeze is blowing in the window and I realized it didn't smell like smoke. So where is the smell coming from. I got up to check and I forgot about my prunes, they were burned to a crisp. Had to toss them now I have the burned pot soaking I think all the scrubbing in the world will not clean it. It was a nice small pot perfect for cooking cream of wheat or boiling a few eggs. If I can't get it clean I will be lost without it. It come in a set of Faberwear pots almost 30 years ago. I wonder if they sell the size anymore. I guess I will check amazon. What I liked is not only was it small it came with a lid now a days so many pots don't have lids.

Sorry I am just babbling.

Oxyclean to the rescue! Fill the pot with water, put in a scoop of Oxyclean and wait about 30 minutes, scrub, repeat as needed.

I used to sell SS cookware. For burned pots we would tell people to put comet cleanser into the dry pot, wet a piece of brown paper bag and scrub, repeat if needed.

If the pot itself was burned through, it is not worth saving because the metal is now porous and detrimental to your health, so toss it.

A good place to find single pots is at Tuesday Morning, Marshalls, Home Goods, and Linen and Things.

This thread is going way off track!

Let's change the subject to weight loss and helping to support and motivate each other.

Let's start with breakfast! What do you eat for breakfast when you are on a weightloss diet?

I drink 8 oz of water when I wake up, have some green tea a short time later, and normally would have a cup of non fat yogurt with fruit, or a poached egg and orange slices (can't have this stuff on hcg diet).

I have a serving of youplait yogurt for breakfast. And water of course. Though to be honest when I'm not on a diet I tend to just skip

I don't like breakfast. My stomach always hurts when I eat in the mornings. I do cook for everyone else.
