I guess I will have to check out each shop separately. Thanks for the heads up.

I think that it is such a tourist area lost of stuff has to be open on a Sunday. Not all the shops are owned by Amish, you could always go to the Outlets there is something like 400 name brand store.

But she was talking about fabric stuff. No fabric stuff at outlets except for a Home Dec Store.

DH tends to like outlets, me, I just mostly window shop. But hey, at least the walking is good exercise ;-)

The outlets ususally have Bath/bedding shops that sell sheets. nice 100% cotton sheets at cheap prices..........perfect for backing a quilt.

That's a great idea!

You'll be about a half-hour away from Hershey. You could go see the chocolate factory (and eat chocolate), walk through the botanical gardens, enjoy the amusement park. There's even a LQS there - http://quiltmakerscottage.com/aboutus.aspx
I think they're open Sunday, not sure, but you can email or call to check.

Just checked the website. That looks like a great place, but unfortunately not open Sunday or Monday. Drat! Will have to put that on my list to check out at a later date.
