Ok, apologies in advance if I repeat...havent read the whole thread...but I use Burts Bees Beeswax and Bannana Hand cream, or hand salve (which is more oily, but works well) and then I put gloves on overnight. I have really dry cuticles and knuckles from so much gardening.

I have Sjorns syndrome and also must be careful of hangnails so I do do get lymphodemia. I have used Aveeno, Eucrin, and Jergens but the best is Bed and Bath Shea Butter hand cream. Kinda pricey but it keeps the cuticles soft.

I have to have a prescription lotion specially made up. It's worth it. The name has rubbed off from so much use but your doctor may have some idea.

I swear by Gold Bond Ultimate Healing with aloe. Works when nothing else does.

I just bought the Eucerin Aquaphor at Walgreen's and it feels heavenly!! It needs to be massaged in real well, but it's great.

You can buy ascorbic acid in the grocery store, it's called Fruit Fresh but it is pricey so just buy cheap vitamin C tablets (ascorbic acid) and crush them to a powder, add a little water to make a paste and add to the hand cream. It makes a great facial!

I use (Naturally Nancy`s) uncented, ingredients___beeswax,mineral oil, borax, water. My fingers used to crack and bleed. I use it every day, hands and feet. Perfect. I have told several people about it.
