Quench by Oil of Olay. It soaks right in, leaves no greasy feel. Even keeps cracked dry feet soft and only need to reapply once a week. I use it on my hands prob. 2X a day.

I use Vaseline "intensive rescue" healing hand cream. I get it at Wal-Mart for $3.00. I love it!

I use Ahava Dermud nourishing body cream, order on-line from the dead-sea-web.com, fantastic stuff. My fingers used to split and bleed but using this hand cream has stopped about 99% of the episodes because I get careless and forget to use it.

The best thing I have used, and it's cheap too, is vasaline.
I put it on at night and wear gloves. works like a charm |
I use No-Crack cream, which works wonders! In fact, the oncologist I type for recommends it to her patients all the time, too.

I think I've tried everything on the market for severely dry and cracked skin on my hands. But the combination that has worked best for me is to put on any good hand lotion or cream, then cover that with a thin layer of petroleum jelly. Leave that on overnight, wearing gloves if you can (to keep your sheets from getting greasy and to "seal" the moisture in even more), and in the morning your hands should have improved dramatically. If necessary, I repeat that until my skin has healed. I hope that helps!

Gloves in a Bottle. Love the stuff. The lady in my LQS turned me on to this a few years ago. She said her hands were always dry in the winter from handling fabrics. She found Gloves in a Bottle and has used it ever since.

I make some buying things for Dollar General.
3 jars of vitiam E cream 1 bottle of baby lotion 1 big container of vaseline Put into a bowl and mix, do not eat, refill the jars. I've make this once next time I want something to make it smell good. Cost is about $7 and you get 5 jars. |
