I mostly use them to take the hot item out and sit on the couch watching tv and eating, lol. But sometimes I heat with the cozie in the microwave, just never more than two minutes, and I never walk away while it's in there and the microwave is on.

I use one for my bowl of ice cream! Butter pecan please!
