I bought both color and black and white on ebay, and had they were dry when I got them, not refills either. Person would not take them back, she really had an attitude.

Ink for printers is gold plated. It costs so much that it is sometimes cheaper to buy a new printer. It costs me $150 to buy ink re-fills for my printer and a new printer,filled with ink, is $79...(?)

Try printpal.com. They sell the name brands for much less than most, as well as their brand which is really inexpensive. I've been using them both at work and at home for 5 years. They ship next day, their customer service is excellent and I've never had a problem. I've used them on both HP and Brother printers. I have heard that you are supposed to use a name brand every third refill because of somekind of additive, but I don't and have never had any problems.

My printer was so cheap initially that it was actually cheaper for me to buy another printer with the cartridges in it than it was to buy the cartridges outright. Not so good for the landfills

I changed printers to a Kodak and the ink is about 1/2 that price and get just as good a print job!!

I have an HP 4315 all in one printer which cost me $79.00 at Staples. Since I use a lot of ink (granddaughters do their school projects on my printer) I used a $20.00 coupon from Costco for two triple packs (2 black, 1 tri-color): final cost was $58.00 for 6 cartridges. A dual pack of 1 black and 1 tri-color ususally costs around $32.00 here, no matter where I go. Occasionally the Walmart will have a double pack for $48.00, but not often. Find that the cartridges don't give you as much print as they used to.
