My DH is the leader of a local, very active, woodworking club. Unfortunately, it is in Ohio. He frequently gets calls from people looking for a woodworker to build something. So perhaps a search for woodworking clubs in your area would yield some results.

Another idea might be Angie's List, although you have to pay something to join.

I just bought a used Koala SewMate II and I love it. I called today to get the insert to fit my machine because the one that came with it only fits my Lily and I don't use her for quilting. I can't wait to get it but I do love the cabinet. Lots of storage.
