This may be the strangest "use" for wine or balsamic vinegar.
I drink it. LOVE the stuff!! If I have a bad upper resperatory congestion, I make myself a mug of hot wine vinegar. The fumes from it boiling is enough to clear the whole town of congestion :) |
I use white vinegar to fix color on fabrics, preventing them to keep bleeding...

I use it each night - warm water in a plastic shoe box and 3 Tablespoons white vinegar. Soak my feet for 15 minutes. I no longer have any cracked heals, corns or nail problems.... I'm a diabetic. Must take care of the tootsies. |

If your garbage disposal or drains start to smell funky, vinegar and baking soda works everytime.

I keep a spray bottle of vinegar in the shower and spray the shower walls and glass doors before I get out. You'd think my bathroom would smell like a pickle, but it doesn't and makes cleaning the shower much easier.

If you ever accidentally put too much soap in your washer and it starts to bubble over, just add some vinegar to the wash. It cuts down on the bubbles. This is a tip learned at my local laundromat. When a kid put a ton of soap in one of the washers.
It's also good to put down your kitchen sink every so often. I use it or lemon juice as a final rinse on my hair, to be sure I've gotten all the soap out. |
