I am retired for the summer (til school starts), then one more year. Hubby just retired, so we are having a great time.

Not retired, but unemployed too. I wonder all the time, how did I ever made time to go to work?

Hi,
I retired two years ago from operating an in home daycare for 34 years......was hard to adjust at first. My dh does lots around the house and cooks dinner too. He's just the best!

NOW, I am working a few days a week at my LQS and it's like wonderful....talk about fun! I do samples for the shop and make up kits and help customers and talk quilting 8 hours a day! I am thoroughly enjoying myself.

Life just keeps getting better!

Bev

Me three!! I haven't worked in nearly 15 years now, and am amazed at how much I used to get done (needlework) when I had a job. Now I have lots of plans but not much motivation to get them done.

I'm retired every year from April 15th to January 1st. I may stay retired all year next year though.

Not retired yet, 3 years 4 months.

I just retired at the end of March and am still getting used to being at home full time. We live in NC and summer has hit with hot and humid so not too much quilting going on, am working on making tops and will quilt once the weather cools down.

I can't say I'm retired, as I can't draw Social Security for 6 more years, but I've always been a stay at home wife. I guess that qualifies as just plain tired!

DH had to retire early due to health issues so he's on the couch watching TV all day. I wish he was able to be up and about but he can't. Him being in the house all day long just wears me out and I can not get anything done. It's a mental thing.
