I didn't know they made padded flat rates! I just placed an order for them.

That's a funny story. I've done the same thing and just brought them to the post office as you're doing. I didn't need a zillion shoe box sizes lol
Yes they are the same size as the regular flat rate envelopes...I noticed that they seemed a little tighted to fit edge to edge stuff into it, but the good part is that it can poof out more easily...so it all equals out.

I also got the legal sized flat rate envelopes...and I don't care for them much...they seem really flimsey...I still haven't used one yet...I was just practicing stuff things into it.

Thanks, Barb. I use flat-rate for my ebay business and will get some.

I stopped into my local post office this morning and took them 50 envelopes...they were so giddy to get them.

    Hi Barb,

I ordered a batch and haven't received them yet. Just wondering how many yards will fit in there with the padding? I'm on a mission to beat the post office with getting flat-rate benefits by using envelopes!

It took longer than usual for my padded and legal envelopes to arrive, so they may be a little slow getting them produced and shipped.

I didn't think you could get more in them, but it made it easier for me to get more puffy stuff into it.

Thank you - I also found APO/FPO flat rate envelopes and I never noticed them before so maybe they've just added those, as well.
