A couple of seasons ago the designers had to use other designers mothers as their models. It was awful to hear the things the designers said about the size of the their "new" models. One mother was like a size 16 and they kept saying how "huge" she was.

What is really irritating is a "plus size" model is an 8 or 10.

After that show, I was very upset with a couple of those designers, and was very happy when they were eliminated. I am a large woman and not happy with my body, but they were really ignorant.

I have always enjoyed watching that show but right about now I wished Gretchen would shut her mouth and keep it closed. She has something to say about everyone and everything. This past thursday Tim Gunn basically told the rest of the group what he thought of her and it wasn't very nice but well deserved. I think Mondo, I believe thats his name, is going to win. His designs are way out there and thats what they like. Oh yeah and lets send Casanova back home, please.

Yes, and the worse part of that was that the designer who insulted one mother to the point of her crying, won the BIG prize at the end. I thought his designs were not worthy of a prize. :hunf:
