Project Runway

Anyone watch tonight's program. Bert got let go but the show is still keeping that Josh. Anya had a nice design but the model had a hard time getting into the dress. Joah is such a knoe-it-all bully.

Sometime I don't understand what they are looking for. Kim's dress was pretty but poorly made. I think Bert should have been out long time ago. I don't think they should be allowed to sew them into the garment. Don't get me started about the use of a glue gun. I have been a seamstress for 40+ years and never thought about using a glue gun. I've been under the gun on time myself but they never had to be cut out of a dress.

This is standard for most Fashion Shows. Most models are not standard size and the dress must fit to perfection. So, tape, pins, glue,q whatever it takes to get them in the dress and looking elegant as they go down the runway. I was in one where I wore a dress open in the back down below my c----. They used double sided tape to shorten it and make sure it didn't move as I walked. Boy, did that ever itch. I had a mild reaction to the tape. Lol. Some of the girls had pins that would stick them every step they took. Hard way to make a living. Took years to get my complexion cleared up from all of the makeup they put on me.

Josh adds drama and he does have a designer eye - THOSE PLAID PANTS WERE HIDEOUS THOUGH. I felt bad for the model. ....but then again, I ALWAYS wonder and try to imaging what the outfit would look like on my size 18 butt and I had a good laugh about it.
Actually I did like Bert's dress (which is a dead give-away that it is too normal and not Runway material.)
