I just took some pumpkin bread out of the oven that my husband will take to friends tonight to thank them for giving us lots of pictures they took of our shared vacation. I hope that bread makes it out of the house ok ... it smells so good!

PS What time do we come to get our pie?!! Just kidding (mostly) ...

I love pumpkin pie and lots of other family, so I will make about 6 as usual. I get hungry for them when fall comes. I only make pie crust from scratch. We will have apple and cherry pies also. A special cheesecake and carrot cakes also.

Yes you can. bake them, let them cool completely and put them in a ziplock... i did that years ago... but they don't last long because as soon as your done you take them right out!
