Default Purse w/credit card holder VS wallet

Seeing more and more purses with credit card slots.

Just wondering...do you use those slots? Taking a quick trip and just wondering if you use them how they work for you. New slimline purse has several pockets and wallet may be two bukly..even tho its a small one.

    Can't wait for you suggestions.

I have had several purses with the slots for credit cards. I use them and I like them. They usually have a zippered compartment for loose change and a place for paper currency.

My favorite purse is a Baggalini - they are wonderful organizer purses with a separate area for credit cards, a zippered pouch for money and so many hidden pockets! I was always on a quest to find the perfect purse until I stumbled across this one. I'll need to purchase a new one - I've about worn my current one out!

I have one in a backpack style. The credit card holder department in zippered and it makes it wonderful for accessing everything from my id to insurance cards. I love it. I'll never go back to a wallet again.

BTW I also like the fact of the backpack style so I can hold at least two kids' hands when taking them to places. The regular purse used to just hit them in the head as it slid off my shoulder. They seem happier with the backpack one. :P

There are never enough slots. I even have another card holder that goes into my bag.

I own a few cross body bags that I use on vacations or when I don't want to fuss or keep track of a regular size handbag. I DO use those slots in the cross body bags since it makes it so convenient and I don't need to bring a whole wallet along besides.
