I have a small white board in my sewing room that I write my quilt projects on and due date if its for a BD or an auction. One of my grand daughters always leaves me a cute message on it and I love that. Sometimes she leaves messages on the refrigerator too. She's a freshman this year.

I have a whiteboard I bought for practicing and still haven't used it. Great note!

If you don't have room for a chalk board, try taping off a rectangle on the wall and use blackboard paint on it. Not expensive and very useful

I saw an idea for a magnetic board somewhere. It said to use an old cookie sheet and decorate to use as a memo board. Make sure it is metal, try it by using a magnet on it.

How does that work with aluminum cookie sheets?
