Default Putting a sewing machine cabinet back together

My wife bought an old sewing machine cabinet to restore but didn't take enough detailed pics before disassembling it. We need to figure out how to put the drop leaf support arm back on. We figured out the thin part of the arm goes into the slot in the cabinet but the holes don't line up or even match up.
It did/does have the motorized lift in it.
Disregard the writing on the arm.
    Thank you for any assistance.

do you know what kind of cabinet it was? Looks modern as opposed to vintage/antique?

Other than a sewing machine cabinet, no we don’t. Picked it up at a thrift store. It isn’t an antique, I don’t think, but just trying to find out where the metal piece goes.

I can't help you but was thinking that if you looked at some of the lifts out there, maybe you'll see where the part goes.

Thanks, I tried that but no image showed the correct angle to see how it fit into that slot.
