Is there a "going rate" for washing/drying/ironing fabric for a custom request? In other words, a customer is mailing 7.5 yds of unwashed fabric to me, for something I'm making for her. Where can I find out what is a reasonable rate for prepping her fabric before I begin her work?

I have never heard of a going rate for prepping the fabric. I would charge her based on the time and skill required to do the job. The time for fabric prep would be included.
