I forget what I did for the cuff on that one.
Exactly! Also, each can say "that's my pillow!" during a sleepover or during cold & flu season.

I make for the size bed, so twin bed one pillow case and double and or queen two except when the person cosleeps then each person gets their own unique pillow case.

I make one unless it would be to match a quilt. I made 2 of the same kind for a friend of mine, and she gave one to her mother, said she didn't need 2!

I am with KLO in making for the grans. They love the many prints I use for their cases. Sometimes my daughter uses the pillowcase as gift wrap which they really like. This year it is Super Hero theme and of course, ballet slippers fabric as lil Anne started dance class. Pillowcases are so easy and they are so pleased to get them. Occasionally I make some travel pillow cases for them.

Thank you all for your answers. I think I will do the one for kids and 2 if they have a full size bed.

Me too! I can't use cheap cotton pillowcases because they rat my hair real bad, then it is fuzzy for a couple days until it finally relaxes again. I like having bright colorful pillowcases, DH wants all of his flannel (keeps his cute bald head warmer....lol!)

I normally just make one as I use the scraps from the quilt it goes to. I present their quilt to them inside the pillowcase with suggestions to store the quilt in the pillowcase when not in use. I embroider their name onto the cuff of the pillowcase too.

Not all pillows come in pairs. If you buy a set, sheet, flat sheet it only comes with 1 pillowcase if its a twin. If its for someone that I know I'd ask the parent if the child has one or two pillows. I love the new way to make pillow cases using the tube method.

A friend of mine has a lot of pillows on her bed. She sent me 47cases to cut off 6 inches to fit all her pillows. I did and she loves them. they all fit the half dozen pillows she has. ha.
