Someone (not sure when or where) said to use old gun cases for quilts, the kind that have glass fronts. You really should put guns in a locked case but this would be perfect for quilts!!

There was a Macy's commercial about 15 years ago, the commercial start with a woman taking a quilt from a stack of them in the cabinet and spreading it out over the bed. I always wanted one like that. It was a beautiful cabinet with a glass front. I thought it might have been an antique. I'm thinking of maybe a second hand store or a garage/estate sale. Please show us when you find one. Mine are mostly on the bed, couches, closths and open cabinets. Now before I make a quilt, I have to know wherre it's going. I'm out of room.

It is a very pretty idea for storing and displaying quilts.

Try dwrwood.com. Also pinterest has some. Found a really lovely one, but can't get anything when I type in that dot.com address.

I have a glass door gun cabinet. It's smaller than any I can find online, the perfect size for a stack of quilts. The right side has drawers for those important things. Love it!

Quilts are always lovely when displayed. The colors draw you to look at the quilts. I've also seen quilts displayed on decorative ladders leaning against a wall. Pretty as well since you can see multiple quilts pretty easily.

I bought an old TV cabinet with glass doors on the side to hold the VCR etc. I folded about 13 quilts and put them in the area the TV would normally go in. I folded other quilts smaller and put them in the VCR area. There are drawers underneath and I put some of the better vintage quilts in there. It is colorful and I love seeing my quilts daily instead of in closets.

I have seen these cabinets at several quilt shows. They are absolutely gorgeous and the workmanship is amazing. You can see these online at Kerry's Kollectibles . They are located in New Braunfels, Texas (a few miles down the road from my daughter's home). We are visiting in December....HMMM! Just in time for Christmas. HMMMM!
I do not have any affiliation with this company just a lot of admiration and lots of time spent drooling over their cabinets.

A friend bought such a display case at Paducah one year. It was sent a few weeks later. Her quilts looked lovely in it.
