    I'm with you. Spend carefully. If you already have plans for your dream quilt. Now is the time to gather the fabrics. $50 (at each store) won't go far, so calculate your needs. If your design uses fabric from a collection, buy as much of that collection as the prize $ will allow from each of the stores. If a given store does not carry the collection, get batting or thread, (or whatever else you can use for a different project.) Perhaps this would be a good time to stock up on wide backing.

    Personally, I'd probably make a complicated project out of this by opening a spread sheet, listing the stores, the price of the desired fabric, other things of interest, additional charges for shipping, etc, and calculate where I'mm get the best deal for the products desired. Fortunately, I won't have to do this, I only got one $10 gift certificate. Hardly worth the effort of hopping.
