purple? been going around for years and No you don't get many if any back. so don't bother. it's a chain letter and not legal some say. i tried it years ago because friends sent to me but i stopped when i started getting some from strangers with no warning.

I also don't do chain letters of any kind. If you want to trade with your friends that's great -- get together and have a swap fest. The personal interaction with other quilters is so much better than anything done by mail.

I got one of these several months ago... thought it might be fun so I sent off my squares and letters as required. I only got squares from 2 other people so I say "NO" , don't waste your time.

I used to get them from an otherwise very nice lady I did handquilting for. I always just ignored them and didn't say anything to her.
