oh Dear sorry to disappoint any one.....but this is not Little Richard. It is Frank "Sugar Chile" Robinson.

I was suspicious of whether this was really Little Richard as a child. He really doesn't look like how I imagined him looking at that age. So I did a little research.

I see the actors in the movie clip are a young Van Johnson and Keenan Wynn. So with GOOGLE, l looked for a movie that starred Johnson and that had a young black piano player in one of the scenes. I found that the movie was No Leave, No Love, which was made in 1946.

I found several sites that attribute the child in the clip as being Little Richard, but the young black pianist is actually Frank "Sugar Chile" Robinson, a prodigy who grew up in Detroit. He was 8 years old when he appeared in the movie.
