    Looking for young adult fiction...
Try the Hunger Games and the sequel Catching Fire.
I just finished the Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks, recommending it to everyone.

I loved the Mitford series, the Elm Creek Quilts series, Harry Potter, Twilight series, Pendragon series and am currently reading the Tales of the Otori series. I also like to read Nora Roberts. 8-)

    Hi,
Just finished "Genesis" by Karin Slaughter

    Just started "Son of Hamas"

I also have a big number of sound books I listen to while quilting. Just finished listening to another Donna Leon book in her Brunetti series called "A Noble Radiance"

"The Shack" was great, bought several copies in Norwegian as gifts for friends.

    Jeffery Deaver is a favorite

I agree with visiting a place after you read a book about it...seems to bring it to life and if its really good you can almost live in the book for a while! I did that with Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil...takes place in Savannah, and is based on a true story. It was also made into a movie starring Kevin Spacey and John Cusack, directed by Clint Eastwood.

I read the " Outlander " series by Diana Gabaldon. I went to Scotland a few years ago, where the story takes place. It felt so real. I also read Garden of Good and Evil, then went to Savannah, which was so beatiful.
